It was a real "knock-out"!

The Green Mountain Dallas Leadership Luncheon was held Friday, November 12, 2004, at the Hotel Inter-Continental in Addison, TX. The Shirley Murphy Business Plan winners were announced, student entrepreneurship students and their employers were recognized, The Murphy Award Winner, Ebby Halliday, was fun and witty as she spoke words of wisdom and sang a song accompanying herself on her ukulele and George Foreman, the Keynote Speaker, gave an inspiring speech about a life going in circles and being changed.

Mr. George Foreman was the keynote speaker for the Third Annual Leadership Luncheon. From a mugger and street brawler at age 15, to Professional Heavyweight Champion of the World in 1973, George Foreman has made a mark on society. Not content with just an athletic career, George built the George Foreman Youth and Community Center - a safe haven for children. It's that Center that caused George to get back in the ring and provide an avenue for supporting the children that the Center benefits. The rest is history. George Foreman is a dynamic speaker, a true entertainer, a great example of setting the bar high and working to achieve the American Dream, and most importantly, sharing his success with others .
