Each year, the Murphy Enterprise Center strives to invite a keynote speaker that will inspire and challenge the attendees to greater heights in the field of entrepreneurship and business. This year's keynote speaker proved to be just such a person.

H. Ross Perot was honored at the 2005 Leadership Luncheon as our Murphy Award winner for a lifetime of achievement in entrepreneurship. We were so inspired by his short speech last year that we asked him back to be our keynote speaker this year. Mr. Perot captivated the 1000+ attendees as he spoke on leadership.

The Murphy Enterprise Center 2006 Murphy Award, Nelson Bunker Hunt has had many multifaceted, worldwide operations in not only oil and gas, but also in mining, cattle and thoroughbred horses, as well as real estate. At his side was his beautiful wife, Caroline, and in the room were many of his loving family and friends. It was an honor for the Murphy Enterprise Center to present this award to Nelson Bunker Hunt.
