Wright Entrepreneur Internship
What is a Wright Entrepreneur Intern?
The Wright Intern program is designed for students who are interested in some day owning and operating their own business. It provides real-world experiences in entrepreneurship for students. The intent of this program is to expose students to as many different facets of the entrepreneurial environment as possible--making payroll, entrepreneurial decisions, marketing, etc. Only twenty students are selected into the program each calendar year. Students do NOT have to be entrepreneurship or business majors. Students interested in business ownership are the priority of this program. Students also participate in an organized course and will have faculty resources to draw upon in completing the project assigned by your employer. Those who are selected are responsible for securing their own employment; however, the Director of the Murphy Center is available to provide assistance. In fact, the first experience learned in this program is securing employment with an entrepreneur.

Comments from an entrepreneur employer of a Wright Entrepreneur Intern
"This program can be compared to the feeling a traveler would have in getting a cooler full of ice water, while walking in the Sahara. The educated assistance of our intern has allowed for an unparalleled forward movement of our business plans. Without this assistance, we would still be putting together our Business Plan and asking many many questions. Instead, our Business Plan is together, in front of the bank for funding, and my partners and I have a clear path going forward. I can't begin to tell how great this feels, only to give you the initial comparison again. Every person with a desire to move forward with the American Dream of opening their own business, should know about this program. I'll be spreading the word. Thanks!!!!"
